About the Podcast:
Join hosts Radek Dvorak and Seth Russell, best friends and seasoned DND players, as they bring Dungeons and Dragons into the contemporary era. In their podcast, "Blockbuster Brawls and Dicey Calls," they take listeners on a cinematic journey, engaging in Dice Hockey and offering commentary through actual play.
Blockbuster: Our primary campaign. A group of Blockbuster employees find a VHS tape that sends them into the world of the movies. Along the way, they'll team up with characters from the greatest movies of all time and do battle with cinema's most infamous villains.
Dice Hockey: Radek and Seth show off their prototype of a DND off-shoot as Sora and his team take on the NHL! Will the team make it to the Stanley Cup?!
why?
We believe that the world of Dungeons and Dragons can be so much more than your typical high-fantasy setting. That's why we've decided to break out of the mold and explore a modern-day approach. Our podcast is all about experimentation, trying new things, and pushing the boundaries of what can be done within the game.
About the Hosts:

Radek Dvorak has been playing D&D since high school, starting with 3.5 edition before transitioning to 5E. He has taken part in seven campaigns but has yet to complete an entire one. He brings his unique perspective and gaming style to Blockbuster Brawls and Dicey Calls, making for an exciting and entertaining podcasting experience. Radek is also currently enrolled at Minot State University.
Seth Russell
Portrays: Co-DM, Roxas, Hatsune Miku, Naoya Toudou
Seth Russell is Radek's best friend since they met in August 2021. He's always been interested in TTRPGs, having been introduced to D&D by Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra's “Oxventure” series on YouTube, but only started regularly playing them in August 2020, having taken part in 5 campaigns and finished 2 of them. He's also an avid gamer, music listener, and anime buff.
